About Me

I am a professional Java developer with over 5 years of experience developing large-scale enterprise web applications. My main area of expertise is designing and developing RESTful webservices.

Programming languages include: Java, J2EE, Python, SQL and limited JavaScript & HTML5/CSS. Extensive knowledge of enterprise point-of-sale systems.

During my time as a software engineer I have played a key role in developing and leading efforts for many systems critical services. Some services include those used for payment processing, inventory management, credit worthiness checks, and shipping fulfillment.

Project efforts include consumer, B2B SCM, sales, and payment API development and design. Most recently I have led projects related to IOT, M2M, and B2B webservice platforms.

I have over 6 years of sales and management experience that compliments my technical skills. I am very talented at stepping out of the engineer’s shoes, and taking a stakeholder or customer’s perspective.

During my time in the Boston University program I was exsposed to various modern programming languages, software development methodologies, and project management techniques. The knowledge I gained from this program allowed me to transition and excel in a professional enterprise development environment.

Berry College

At Berry College I participated in television, radio, and internet broadcasting. I was able to participate in all levels of media production, design, and distribution.

Foursquare is one of the student productions that I participated in. My main responsibilities for this project were Director of Photography and Editor.

Systems Engineer: MTS III• November 2017 - June 2019

Lead role with 2+ developers working for me at any given time.

Developed and maintained B2B, M2M, and IOT webservices that were consumed by various internal and external corporate clients.

Led the development efforts for multiple high visibility business critical efforts including IOT, M2M, and B2B specific projects. Also played a role in 5G development efforts as a webservice integration platform developer.

Compiled clear documentation for external clients using our API platform.

Systems Engineer: MTS II• January 2016 - October 2017

Developed and supported webservices for major indirect clients (Best Buy, Target, Wal-Mart, Costco, etc.).

Developed services to enable internal Verizon customer enhancements such as: In Store Pickup and Same Day Delivery.

Implemented multiple functionalities that enabled our indirect clients to drive sales through our API platform.

Systems Engineer: MTS I• January 2014 - January 2016

Developed and supported RestFUL webservices development for Verizon internal clients. Played a major part in migrating legacy webservices into a new tech stack for use with ATG front end point-of-sale applications.

Consistently outperformed sales expectations and excelled in customer service interactions. Was able to shortly become a keyholder and spent a small time in a management position before choosing to pursue software development.
